The product
Lenaya keeps your appointments and your paperwork in one place, and answers the questions that come to you afterwards. You record on an iPhone and read it back in any browser. Invite your family when you want them.
Visits
One tap starts a recording, and one tap ends it. A little while later the whole conversation comes back as something you can actually read, rather than a transcript full of medical shorthand.
Your blood pressure has come down since the last visit, so Dr. Ramirez wants to keep the current pill and stop the water pill for now. A blood draw before the next appointment will check how things are going, and a referral to the sleep clinic is on its way.
The to-do list and the plain-language summary are two separate tabs of a visit. The summary reads at three levels — Normal, Simpler, or Detailed. Sample content, not a real patient.
Your to-do list
What usually goes wrong after an appointment is not complicated. It is a referral nobody called about, or a medicine nobody picked up.
Ask anything
Ask in your own words and get an answer back in plain language. The answer is built only from your own visits and your own documents, never from the internet and never from anybody else’s records.
Also included
Photograph a paper handout or upload a PDF. Lenaya reads it, pulls out what matters, and files it with the right visit.
Your numbers, explained in words, and shown across visits so you can see which way something is moving.
Your visits grouped by concern rather than by date, so a knee and a blood pressure each keep their own thread.
Invite family or a caregiver. They read the same recaps and ask their own questions, from wherever they are.
Record on the iPhone app. Read, search and ask on any browser, on a laptop with a screen big enough to see it.
Take a copy of your records whenever you want one, and permanently delete your account and its contents whenever you decide to.
On a bigger screen
A year of a parent’s appointments is a lot to read on a phone. The web app gives you room to put it all side by side.

The free trial
You get Core with Care Circle free for three months. That is the full app, plus one person of your choosing.
Cancelling — during the trial or later — also starts a clock on the records you have built up. See what happens if you cancel.
Questions
That depends on where you are. Recording laws vary by state, and some states require everyone in the conversation to agree. You are responsible for getting consent before you record, and the simplest approach is the honest one. Tell your doctor you would like to record so you can remember it properly at home. Most say yes.
No. Lenaya records your appointments, writes them back in plain language and organizes them, and it answers questions from your own records. It does not give medical advice, it is not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for your clinician. It tells you what was said at your appointments. It does not tell you what to do about it.
It is also not for emergencies. Call 911 if you have one.
No. Your recordings, your documents and your health information are never used to train AI models, and we never sell your information. Your records are shared only with the people you personally invite into your Care Circle, and with the service providers that run the app on our behalf.
The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Only from your own visits and your own documents. Lenaya does not answer from the internet and does not mix in anyone else’s records. If your records do not contain the answer, it says so rather than filling the gap with something general.
You are not charged again, and everything you have already paid for stays yours until the end of the period you paid for. Until that date nothing changes about how you use the app.
After that date the account becomes read-only. You can still read everything you saved, but you cannot record new visits, ask new questions or add documents. We email you twice.
Thirty days later your records are deleted — recordings, transcripts, summaries and documents. Resubscribe any time before that date and you keep everything, or export a copy of your records first from Settings.
A recording is one appointment you record. A question is one thing you ask the assistant and get an answer to. If an answer fails to come back, it does not count against you. Both reset at the start of each billing month.
Documents are counted per visit rather than per month, so a visit with a lot of paperwork does not use up the whole month.
To record a visit, yes. The recording app is on iPhone. Everything else works in any browser on any computer, which is where most families end up reading things anyway. Lenaya is available in the United States.
Yes, that is what Care Circle is for. You invite them, they get their own sign-in, and they read the same recaps and ask their own questions. You choose who is in the circle and you can remove someone at any time.
